I probably should use words such as “voracious” and “book-worm” to describe myself, but I’d rather just tell you about my big dream. The smaller aspirations are inconsequential; the house by a lake, life full of puppies, winning the Nobel Prize for Literature. The bigger dream is to build a personal library, so big that I’d need ladders to reach the tops. My more prized first edition hardcovers would be locked safely behind crystal vaults and my friends would say things like “She’s such a talented cupcake maker and yet she’s locked herself up in her library again, I would too if I had one like hers though”.
This blog is at least a step in the right direction while perhaps also being a useful tool for those looking for their next read. Although in all honesty if you are anything like me; a bad review will most probably not deter you from reading a book that is easily accessible. However, a book review I believe brings readers closer together and is useful for a recommendation in a genre of your choice if you trust the reviewer’s taste and opinions.
If you are interested in my personal recommendations, be sure to look through the ‘Recommended Reading’ category.
Also, feel free to follow the blog or its Facebook page for regular updates.
In case you want to get in touch with me privately, for matters ranging from a difference in opinion or if simply because you’re a dog person and want someone to talk to about how cute they look in baskets, my email address firstname.lastname@example.org is at your disposal.
